Wow! Once again I find myself a month behind!

I seriously am so far behind in darkroom work. I have taken a photo every day though. Hard to say which camera or which photo goes to which day though! I will get caught up soon though!

March 31, 2010

It was a beautiful day down at the river. Can't wait to see the other shots I got this day. The roll is still in the camera though!

March 30, 2010

A wall in the motor home.

March 29, 2010

A squirrel getting ready to come take a bath in the pond. He took off as soon as he saw me!

March 28, 2010

This didn't turn out like I wanted. It was a self portrait but I didn't show up in the end!

March 27, 2010

Worn yard ornament in my yard. I like how this turned out.

My last 5 prints of March are drying in the Darkroom

Whew! I've said it before and I'll say it again. I should not leave 1/2 a month worth of negatives to print at once! The last 5 prints for March are, as I'm typing this, drying in the darkroom. There are several days that I need to revisit as some of the prints I put online are probably not the best of the day, just the one I picked to print. I think that if I spent more time on each day I'd find the better prints to share. Some days I only took one shot so what you see is what you get. Other days I shot a roll or 2 and just quickly picked one. My print binder is getting full! I'll get these 5 prints up online before I go to work this evening.

March 26, 2010

I collect funky ashtrays from the 60's and 70's. They decorate my yard in the summer. Here is one of them.

March 25, 2010

Why is it that I never have the right lens on for the job at hand! I sat for days with my 135mm lens with the 2x teleconverter on it in my back yard waiting for a bird. No birds. Then when I had my 50mm lens on wala! A bird? Oh well. A highly enlarged and grainy bird is my photo of the day!

March 24, 2010

The light house back in it's rightful place on the island!

March 23, 2010

I liked how the shadows were falling on the chair. I should have captured the shadow of the chair also. Oh well, not a terribly interesting shot anyway!

March 22, 2010

The lighthouse is ready to go outside when the weather cooperates!

March 21, 2010

St. Pat's sign in the garden.

March 20, 2010

Ed is busy repainting and restoring our 4 foot high light house for the big pond.

March 19, 2010

Another shot of the garage. Okay, I think I've taken too many garage photos!

March 18, 2010

The day was so gloomy but the sunset was fantastic! The clouds just glowed. Taken out of town at Jane's ceramics meeting.

March 17, 2010

Taken on a walk down the block with my mom. Always have a camera with me. Don't always get an interesting photo!

March 16, 2010

Mom and I were tieing Home of the Brave Quilts. Here is one layered and layed out on the kitchen table.

March 15, 2010

Taken on a walk with Jane.

Wednesday, March 24, 2010

Well, so far so good!

I've managed a shot everyday although my initial thought of making them all thought out and wonderful has not materialized! I do feel quite out of place when I don't have a camera with me though. I have not had a lot of time in he darkroom but I do have negatives through yesterday. I hope to get them all printed by the end of the month. That may not happen though! We'll see!

March 14, 2010

Another one of those days when I just didn't get much time to shoot! Another shot of the Laurel Rifle Club building. It is overexposed but I was able to get a decent print although not all that interesting!

March 13, 2010

A shot at The Saint Patrick's Day parade in Billings. The hot air balloon sort of made it interesting!

March 12, 2010

Orchids in the kitchen window. I keep hoping they will decide to bloom again someday!

March 11, 2010

A highly cropped image of a raised glass.

March 10, 2010

One of my old cameras. It came in it's box with the flash and lots of bulbs. I am going to have to fire it up one of these days!

March 9, 2010

Ed in his garage. This film does so much better at low light portraits.

March 8, 2010

Okay, one of those days! It was getting pretty late and I realized I hadn't taken a photo yet! Not very interesting but it was good practice in low light.

March 7, 2010

Taken on the trip home from Bozeman at a fishing access in Paradise Valley. It was sort of a cloudy afternoon but the area is absolutely beautiful. Taken with my Sears TLS, 50mm lens on Arista Premium 400. Love this film!

I sort of liked this? Don't ask me why!

March 3, 2010

Jane being silly! She doesn't like her pic taken!

March 2, 2010
